Cecil Henry has spent more than two decades doing work that most shops in Kentucky won't touch — and doing it in the same small town where he grew up. Born and raised in Marion, Kentucky, Cecil built Auto Art Restoration from a singular obsession: the belief that certain cars are worth saving, and that saving them correctly requires a level of care and craftsmanship that the average body shop simply isn't built to deliver.
Over the course of his career, Cecil has personally handles hundreds of paint, metalwork and restoration jobs, earning a reputation across Western Kentucky and well beyond as the restorer you call when you want perfection.
What started as a personal love of classic BMW's became a years-long dedication to metalwork, paint, panel fabrication, and the particular discipline required to actually restore rather than just cosmetically bandaid.
Cecil is an active collector of vintage BMW models, and that personal investment in the marque translates directly into how restorations are approached in the shop. An E30 that comes through Auto Art's doors isn't just a job — it's a car Cecil understands at a level that goes beyond technique. He knows what these cars are supposed to feel like, look like, and mean to the people who own them.
Owners routinely transport their vehicles from Louisville, Lexington, Nashville, and surrounding cities specifically because they can't find that combination of European expertise and genuine passion closer to home.
